I recently joined an on-line art group, providing a gallery to display your work and to get critique and advice from contributors.It really is a great little art community and caters for all ages, tastes, and abilities.

Anyway, there are a couple of artists on there whose work is astounding, check out Adolfo and Lyle to name but two. I came across the original sketch of this on Adolfo's gallery page, it's simplicity and clean lines really caught my eye, and so I had to have a go at trying to produce my own my version.
The result simply isn't anywhere as near as striking as Adolfo's original but it inspired me to have a go at using colour and that's not a bad thing. Maybe I've gone over the top with the colour, but it's fired me up to try more colour work, if only in sketches.
