I have to say it's been a hell of a struggle to get things done lately.
We had booked to go over to the USA for a few weeks to see family and friends and to visit our own little bit of Florida, but literally at the last minute it we had to cancel due to a medical problem. I'm not worried about the holiday cost, it's just a great pity that we now have to go through yet another health scare issue. Still that must come first.
However, apologies to all those good folk that we will miss seeing out there this time. Hopefully, once we get the treatment regime sorted out, we'll be out there like a shot.
Despite these problems, work doesn't seem to want to go away for a holiday, and despite explaining the situation to a couple of clients, I am amazed by their bloody selfish attitude, particularly given that I wasn't going to be around anyway. Just hope it doesn't happen to your partner's sometime fella's!
Loads of crap going on here in blighty, crooked politicians, financial turmoil and Andy Murrey's impending Wimbledon win [Ha ha ha - excuse me while I pick myself up off the floor!] as well as all the brahohaha about about the UK being an evil regime which bounces back and forth between Westmimster and Tehran. I really must start writing more and get down some of the more idiotic tales of living in the UK.
On the good news front....at long last, and after a massivlely long gestation period the first faltering steps of my mates and my threatened online art gallery, www.SE1-online.com were realised this week as the website finally saw the light of day for the first time.
It'll be a few more weeks before the site is fully functioning but its a good sign for the future and I'm looking forward to working it up with my old mate Steve Nixon to get into the art presentation and representation game.
