A few sketches , drawn in a copied style of a few named artists, on the 'work' pages.
I've been taken by the cartoons of HM Bateman of late, the prolific cartoonist. who drew for many of the quality publications of his time. Through simple line and tone he was able to convey the full range of human emotion for maximum comic effect.
Throughout the 20's and 30's the popularity of his "Man Who …." Series raised his status to that of the highest paid and most copied humorist of the time.
I've added a few that might fit into a more liberated 'The girl who....' category of titles.
